Holiday stressFor many of us, the holiday season begins with a deadline-driven “to do” list that includes more chores, tasks, social obligations and financial outlay than we normally face in our already busy lives. The added pressures can leave us feeling overworked and under-energized, not to mention tired, grouchy and blue.

What’s more, the stress and strain can play havoc with our health—from weakening our immune system and opening us up to cold and flu, to triggering flare-ups of existing conditions, such as GERD (gastro-esophageal reflux disease) and IBS (irritable bowel syndrome).
