Health eCooking: How To Wash Fresh Berries

There’s nothing like stopping by the local farm market this time of year to pick up fresh berries. This easy method can be used to clean all of your favorite berries, including strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries.

It is best to store fresh berries dry. Wash berries right before you are ready to use them.

Wash Berries: Place berries in a large bowl of cold water. Let berries sit for a few minutes in water. With a slotted spoon, remove berries and transfer to paper towels to dry.
