Ingredients – Salad
- 3 fresh strawberries
- 4 blackberries
- 4 raspberries
- 10 blueberries
- 5 mandarin orange segments
- 1 tsp sliced almonds
- 5 leaves of fresh basil
- 1 cup mesclun greens
Ingredients – Dressing
- 3 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp chocolate syrup
- 4 oz of canola oil
- 1 tsp minced shallots
- Pinch of salt
Preparation
- Mix all of the dressing ingredients together well and set aside.
- Combine all salad ingredients evenly on the mesclun greens and top with almonds.
- Drizzle salad with the chocolate balsamic dressing.
